Iteen has been celebrating "ITEEN Day" on 25 of July from its 10th anniversary. This year in different places in Nepal and outside of Nepal Iteen day was celebrated. On that very day 26 pastors and leaders within the valley gathered together at Family of God Church, Nakkhu, from 3 pm to 5 pm and joined in prayer service.

During the service Sarju Rijal through a power point shed light on how God has been working through Iteen in Nepal and beyond.

The Director of Iteen Pastor Tanka Subedi quoted that for 14 years Iteen has been able to do God's work in the Churches in a very blessed way. And he led the people in prayer by explaining the following points:

Points of Praises

1. For adequate leadership development in Churches.
2. For being registered in Nepal government.
3. For 4000 students who have been studying regularly.
4. For miraculous changes brought in students lives by God.
5. For God's continuous security and blessings.
6. For Iteen's programmes (for 48 districts in Nepal and India, U.A.E., Malaysia, Hong Kong, Bahrain etc).
7. For regular publication of new books.

Prayer Points

1. For more than 4000 students who are studying ITEEN courses regularly.
2. For all the tutors, students, staff and board members.
3. For the fund needed to run ITEEN.
4. For ITEEN family and all the Churches and organizations.
5. For the security of Christian and Churches in Nepal.
6. For God's blessing on new publications.
7. For people supporting ITEEN financially.

At the end of the prayer service the board chair person shared few words. He light on how ITEEN has bee successful in providing practical courses for the Churches "Though I am a bible college graduate, I have found that they lack the base and that provide by ITEEN." He also said that since the courses can be done at home, many have benefited from ITEEN.

The treasurer of ITEEN board, Pastor Mukund Kumar Sharma concluded the prayer service with a short prayer.

On the occasion of ITEEN Day many Churches inside and outside of the valley prayed for ITEEN. We were informed through phone calls that many Churches offered prayers for ITEEN and Mrs. Aruna Thapa informed that 2 hrs. prayer service was held in Pokhara by ITEEN tutors and students.

Message from The Board Chair

during the 1990s along with the fast growth of the Church, many bible training centers, bible schools and colleges were started in Nepal. Many of them have positive impact. ITEEN started with a slogan "Ghar Gharai Bible College,"("Bible College at Home'). ITEEN started with a target of reaching thousands of Christian 14 year ago. ITEEN has established itself during these 14 years and has become a blessing to the Churches in Nepal. Today we would like to thank all the tutors, students praying friends, pastors, leaders, supporters and well wishers.

ITEEN has been successful in teaching the bible in a very simple way from Mechi to Mahakali, India, U.A.E., Malaysia, Dubai, Hongkong etc.

Because of this the Churches have developed in leadership and discipleship. Christian have started to be more practical, Churches have become stronger spiritually. Believers have become active in Church work, It has been able to give leaders, teachers, businessmen, farmers a practical teaching.

There are about 4000 students studying ITEEN courses in Nepal. ITEEN has developed tutor's trainings locally. The work of ITEEN is growing along with the growth of the Church. In youth fellowship, ladies fellowship, men's fellowship, house fellowship, leaders fellowship, Y.F.C. , CBS fellowship and in jails ITEEN has taken its grip.

In the different denominations, the ITEEN courses have become their need. The people ages range from 10 years old to 75 year olds.

We hope to get help, support, advises and prayers from all. Let our Great God be honored and praised.

आइटीन दिवस

यही २५ जुलाइ, २००७, बुधबार अर्थात् श्रावण ९, २०६४ का दिन आइटीन कार्यालयमा आशिष् खड्काले स्तुति प्रशंसामा अगुवाइ गरेपछि आइटीनको बाह्र वर्षे इतिहासमा प्रथम वाषिर्क साधारण सभा सुरु भयो ।
नेपालको मण्डलीलाई वचनको सरल र खँदिलो शिक्षा दिने दर्शनका साथ सुरु भएको आइटीनले हिमालदेखि तराई, पूर्व मेचीदेखि महाकालीसम्मका मण्डलीहरू मात्र होइन, देशबाहिरका नेपाली मण्डलीहरूलाई पनि आफ्ना पाठ्यक्रमद्बारा वचन खुवाउन थालिसकेको छ।आइटीनले सुरुमा सेआन नेपालको नामबाट प्रेम ब. राईलाई पहिलो अध्यक्ष र पिटर बिसेटलाई सचिव बनाएर कार्यक्रम सुरु गरेको थियो।
कार्यक्रमको सुरुमा आइटीन बोर्डका अध्यक्ष प्रेम ब. राईले आइटीनको सुरुवात र स्थापनाको पृष्ठभूमि र उद्देश्य स्मरण गर्दै आइटीन किशोर अवस्थामा पुगेको कुरा गर्नुभयो।आजको दिनलाई एबेन-एजर भन्दै अध्यक्ष राईले आइटीनको भोलिको लागि आजको भेटघाटले खाका तय गर्ने कुरा गर्नुभयो।
अध्यक्ष राईले अनुरोध गरेपछि सहभागी सबैले आफ्नो परिचय दिनुभयो।त्यसपछि अध्यक्षले सबैलाई स्वागत गर्नुभयो ।
आइटीनका निर्देशक टंक सुवेदीले समय दिएपछि आइटीनका पूर्व अध्यक्ष तथा सल्लाहकार बालकृष्ण शर्माले परमेश्वरको वचनबाट बाँड्नुभयो।"शिक्षाले परिवर्तन ल्याउँछ।मानवीय जीवनका चारवटा पक्षहरूमा येशूको विकास भएझैँ हाम्रो पनि विकास र वृद्धि हुनु आवश्यक छ," भन्दै रेभ. शर्माले व्यवहारिक र सैद्धान्तिक शिक्षाको बीचमा तालमेल ल्याउनु वर्तमान नेपालको मण्डलीको चुनौती हो भन्ने कुरामा जोड दिनुभयो ।
त्यसपछि आइटीनका निर्देशक टंक सुवेदीले १४ वर्षअघि बेलायती मिशनरी पिटर बिसेटले सेआनको किताब देखाएपछि अनुवाद सुरु भएको कुरा स्मरण गर्नुभयो।त्यसपछि आइटीन अन्तराष्ट्रियका निर्देशक पिटर बिसेटले बेलायतबाट लेख्नुभएको इमेल रीता सुवेदीले वाचन गर्नुभयो।
त्यसपछि आइटीनका सचिव र कोषाध्यक्षको अनुपस्थितिमा निर्देशक टंक सुवेदीले आइटीनको गत जनवरीदेखि हालसम्म गरिएका कार्यक्रमहरूको सामान्य प्रतिवेदनन र आर्थिक प्रतिवेदन प्रस्तुत गर्नुभयो ।
गत छ महिनाको अवधिमा छ वटा साधारण शिक्षक तालिम, एउटा विशेष तालिम र पाँचजना पास्टरहरूले आइटीनको बारेमा जानकारी लिएका थिए।
आइटीनले सैंबु गा.वि.स., ललितपुरमा तीनतले घर किनेको थियो।सो घर कार्यालय प्रयोजनको लागि सानो भएकोले मर्मत सम्भार गरी क्रय मूल्यभन्दा बढीमा विक्री गरेर आएको पैसाले अर्को ठाउँमा पाए घर नभए जग्गा किनेर घर बनाउने र सो काम डिसेम्बर भित्र सिध्याउने प्रयास भएको जानकारी पनि दिइयो ।
आशिष्‌को थैलीबाट रु.१४,२४९ देशभित्रैबाट संकलन गरिनु संस्थाको स्वावलम्बनतिर बढेको कदम हो।आइटीनको वेबसाइट सुरु भएको साथै ITEEI को बारेमा सामान्य परिचय पनि दिइयो।पूर्वोत्तर भारतका नेपाली मण्डलीहरूमा आइटीनको पाठ्यक्रम सञ्चालको लागि लोक गुरुङको अध्यक्षतामा केही समयअघि ITEEI को गठन भएको छ।हाल रोधा थापा ITEEI को कार्यकर्ताको रूपमा आसाममा र अन्य क्षेत्रहरूमा कार्यरत हुनुहुन्छ।त्यसैगरी खाडी देशहरूमा भएका नेपाली मण्डलीहरूको साझा संगति ENCA ले पनि त्यस क्षेत्रका देशहरूमा झुण्डहरू सञ्चालन गरेको र आगामी अक्टोवरमा मलेशियामा हुने भ्रमणबाट त्यहाँ पनि पाठ्यक्रम सुरु हुने जानकारी दिइयो।
त्यसपछि राष्ट्रिय निर्देशकले गत जनवरीदेखि जुनसम्मको आर्थिक प्रतिवेदन प्रस्तुत गर्नुभयो।निर्देशक सुवेदीले Tear Fund UK ले सहयोग घटाउने जानकारी र आशिषको थैलीलाई प्रवर्द्धन गरिदिन अनुरोध पनि गर्नुभयो।
देशका ४३ वटा जिल्लामा करिब ३००० विद्यार्थीहरूले आइटीनका पाठ्यक्रम अध्ययन गरिरहेका र मण्डलीलाई धेरै आशिष् पुगेको छ ।
साधारणसभा सदस्यको फारमको जानकारी दिएपछि बोर्डले सदस्यता शुल्क नलिने निर्णय गरेको जानकारी पनि निर्देशकले दिएर मासिक वा एकपटक भेटी दिन अनुरोध गर्नुभयो ।
आइटीनलाई नेपाल सरकारमा दर्ता गर्नुपर्ने विषयको प्रस्ताव निर्देशक टंक सुवेदीले ल्याउनुभयो ।
त्यसपछि जीत घलेले MBA दर्ता भएको उल्लेख गर्दै आइटीन पनि दर्ता गर्न सकिने र गर्नुपर्ने सल्लाह दिनुभयो।आइटीनलाई गुठियारको रूपमा दर्ता गर्नुपर्ने सुझाव उहाँको थियो।रेभ.बालकृष्ण शर्मा र प्रेम ब. राईले पनि गुठियारमा दर्ता हुन असल हुने सल्लाह दिनुभयो।सभाले प्रतिवेदन, योजना र दर्ताको प्रक्रियालाई अनुमोदन गर्‍यो।एन.जी.ओ., गुठियार वा अन्य ठाउँमा दर्ताको लागि निर्णय र पहल गर्ने अधिकार साधारण सभाले बोर्डलाई दियो ।
जेम्स ल्होमीले एफ.एम.हरूबाट पाठ्यक्रम प्रसारण गरे राम्रो हुने सल्लाह दिनुभयो।सुदूरपश्चिमलाई केन्द्र बनाएर तालिम गर्नुपर्ने सुझाव पनि दिइयो।
"आजको दिनलाई आइटीन दिवस हो," भन्दै निर्देशक सुवेदीले रामघाट मण्डलीका एल्डर वेदी सुवेदीलाई प्रार्थना सञ्चालन गर्न समय दिनुभयो।सबैले मिलेर सबै कुराको लागि धन्यवाद चढाएपछि सबैले नै आइटीनका विविध विषयहरूमा प्रार्थना गर्नुभयो र त्यसको समाप्ति सुमित्रा गुरुङले गर्नुभयो ।
त्यसपछि निर्देशकले ENCA र HFB बाट पठाइएको शुभकामना सन्देशहरू सुनाउनुभयो।
अन्त्यमा रेभ.सिमोन पाण्डेले आइटीनको तालिम र पाठ्यक्रम बेग्लै र लाभदायक भएको कुरा बताउनुभयो।पिटर बिसेट आइटीनको दर्शन देख्ने व्यक्ति र निर्देशक टंक सुवेदीलाई आइटीनलाई सक्रिय नेतृत्व दिएकोमा रेभ.पाण्डेले प्रशंसा गर्नुभयो ।
रेभ.सिमोन पाण्डेले अन्तिम प्रार्थना गर्नुभयो र बैठक समाप्त भयो।सबै सहभागीहरू खानाको लागि छुट्टिए।
यसरी बाह्रवटा वर्षहरू सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न गरेको आइटीन अझै झाङ्गिंदै जावोस् भन्ने हाम्रो प्रार्थना।
